Individual Yoga and Meditation instruction and therapy sessions can be held in person in clinic/studio or in home as well as via Skype, Facetime or Zoom video platforms. They can offer many benefits for the beginner and more advanced student alike. Some of these are described below:
1.)Gaining Initial Experience/Developing Personal Goals Beginners to yoga can feel overwhelmed in a class setting, particularly during the first few classes. It can seem difficult to keep up and personal flexibility might require a little work before it is easy to get into the different poses. This can help the beginner focus on personal interests, concerns or goals more readily without the stress of trying to keep up with others with more experience.
Also, instead of following the instruction of a yoga instructor in a class setting that may not meet personal goals for flexibility, strength or meditation, a private lesson allows an individual to set the goals and plans. The instructor takes the information about a yoga practitioner’s goals to generate a more targeted, efficient and personalized regimen based on the information.
2.) Creating a Personalized Schedule Although the experience and goal planning is important, making the time for lessons is a vital element of yoga. If it is not possible to get to a class, then joining a class is not logical. Private lessons work around personal plans and scheduling. It is possible to take lessons at any time of the day or night based on work and social obligations. Instead of trying to work a class into a schedule that has limited time, the lessons are taken when it is possible in the current schedule.
3.) Overcoming Health problems (Yoga Therapy) With more significant Injuries and health concerns, for safety and therapeutic reason individual session may be indicated. A yoga instructor with several students cannot focus on one individual and address causes and well as in individual session. Furthermore, health concerns like diabetes or heart disease may require special alterations to the yoga therapy practice. It allows what is done in Yoga to be as a compliment in accordance with responsible medical treatment.
4.) Accommodate and address present limitations. When health concerns are a potential issue, The instructor can work around the problem and avoid further complications. As the discipline of yoga is maturing in how it is offered in this country, experienced teachers are more adept at tailoring individual non-medical yoga therapies many are utilizing to help with recovery from several physical and mental/emotional issues.
5.) Developing a Plan for Personal Home Yoga Practicing yoga at home is not recommended until after working with a professional. The reasons are practical: practicing at home without initial instruction can lead to accidental injuries. A private yoga lesson can make it possible to create a plan that is appropriate for practicing in the home at a future date.
6.) Working on In-Depth Practice Although beginners can experience benefits of yoga from private lessons to gain confidence, it is also beneficial for advanced practitioners. Taking a yoga practice to the next level may require private instruction. Advanced classes in a group setting might not offer the level of challenge and planning that is required for more advanced practitioners. Advanced practitioners can benefit from yoga instruction from an instructor without the distractions of other students or less advanced classes. It is beneficial to work with a private instructor for yoga. In many cases, it will result in better skills, a greater level of confidence and fewer complications.
