Beginners and advanced students alike can enjoy this classical Yoga experience designed to help de-stress and energize to gear up for the spring season. Enjoy an in-depth exploration and balancing of body and mind to help you dissolve stress and move with greater ease and energy. Enjoy the power and peace inherent in this integrated approach to classical Yoga posture, breath work, meditation and imagery; intended to support the release of build flexibility and tone, release physical and energetic blockages that lead to stress and fatigue. As these seeds of distress are dissolved we bring the possibilities of unfolding balance, wellness, and inner peace.
Wednesday Mornings, March 21 - May 23, 2018 (10 weeks)
Yoga Basics: Relax and Renew 9:30-10:45am (all levels of experience, gentle-moderate challenge)
Take a mid-morning break to enjoy a balanced Yoga and Meditation experience designed to support you throughout your day! Learn and expand upon this unique presentation of Yoga and additional awareness and movement practices designed to restore and renew body mind and spirit. Based upon a deep understanding of the layers and levels of bodily movement, alignment, and function, attention is given to core and outer physical strength, flexibility and overall balance. Meditation, awareness and mindful attention to breath enhances a sense of power, focus and deep stress release. Yoga Basics: Flexibility and Stress Relief 6:00- 7:15pm (all levels of experience, gentle-moderate challenge)
Learn and expand upon this unique presentation of yoga and additional awareness and movement practices designed to renew body mind and spirit. Restore and build flexibility, physical balance and tone as you release the accumulated effects of stress on your body and mind. With careful instruction safely and steadily develop a deep understanding of the layers and levels of bodily movement, alignment, and function to alleviate aches and pains and restore comfort and joy in your body. Meditation, awareness and mindful attention to breath enhances a sense of power, focus and deep stress release. Yoga Beyond the Basics: Yoga Mastery through Somatic Exploration 7:30-8:45pm. (moderate challenge, some experience recommended)
Breakthrough the plateaus in your yoga practice as you stimulate deeper healing energies and integrate the profound benefits of yoga. Create an increasing connection to joy through your yoga practice amidst the challenges of living on and off the yoga mat.
Taking your Yoga to the next level doesn’t need to mean more demand physically, especially if the essence and depth of practice is compromised. This class integrates the deeper Yoga practices with the familiar and more advanced variations of Yoga postures. Elements of Somatic and Feldenkrais movement disciplines, other creative functional movement modalities are integrated with the more traditional Yoga poses and mindfulness practices to further enhance the growth and transformational possibilities of this experience.

Kundalini Yoga Basics 4:30-5:45pm (all levels of experience)
Novices and experienced practitioners of yoga can enjoy this enlivening and enlightening Kundalini yoga experience! Kundalini yoga employs breathing practices with postures, movement stretching, and meditation in specific sequences and forms to bring maximum benefits and amazing benefits to all aspects of the Self. Utilize this amazing practice to support enhanced physical flexibility and tone, expanded energy, deep stress release, heightened awareness and transformational healing. Modifications to the practices are available to encourage any level of student to work at their own pace as they learn and explore this extraordinary synthesis of yoga practices. Yoga Basics: Ageless Ease Yoga: 6:00-7:15pm (all levels of experience, gentle to moderate challenge)
Whether you are a novice or more advanced, recovering from pain and movement problems or simply seeking to move through blocks or limitations in your Yoga or exercise practice performance this class can help you to discover and shed limiting moment patterns to enjoy new freedom and ease in Yoga. This class will employ a creative fusion of classic Yoga practices and cutting-edge techniques developed by present-day movement masters to unlock our innate intelligence to help you transform mental and physical patterns of pain and limitation. Enjoy this subtle, deep and remarkably powerful way of using awareness in motion to help regain pain-free movement, tone, and flexibility, address the effects of stress on body and mind. The higher practices of deep relaxation, breathwork and meditation are integrated into the experience to facilitate stress release and deepen inner peace and well-being on and off the yoga mat.
